Luiza Parvu and Toma Peiu's Sisyphus 2.0 will screen in The Hague, on October 27th and 28th, 2017 at the 3rd FILM & EXPERIMENT – Spotlight: Romania. The piece will run in a program of curated highlights from recent editions of the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival (BIEFF). Sisyphus 2.0 won the Best Romanian Filmmaker Award at BIEFF 2017.
According to a press release from the festival: "Under the title BREAKING THE WAVE, the program includes some of the most well-received works signed by Romanian filmmakers and visual artists which have been part of BIEFF’s International Competition during the last few years, works which have also been presented in prestigious festivals and museums, galleries and other art institutions around the world."
The screening, taking place on Saturday, October 28th, at 6:30 PM, in De Nieuwe Regentes Theater (Weimarstraat 63, The Hague), will be followed by a talk with BIEFF Festival Manager & Associate Curator Dan Angelescu.
The film will also be exhibited as a part of an installation in De Nieuwe Regentes' gallery space, Het Diepe, on October 27th, from 19:30 to 23:30 and October 28th, from 12:30 to 23:30.
