Toma Peiu will be giving a talk at the upcoming Human and Non-Human Migration and Mobility Symposium hosted by the Centre for Spatial, Environmental and Cultural Politics and the School of Media at the University of Brighton (UK) on March 25th, 2019.
Toma Peiu’s presentation, Blissful displacements: from Hadrian’s Wall to Bay Parkway, which will include examples from recent films and installation projects to propose a new imaginary for the study of migration and place, will be closing the symposium - in a panel on Borders, informality, and re-placing meanings of space in and outside the city.
The symposium program can be consulted here.
Peiu’s participation is generously supported by a Graduate Student Travel Grant offered by the Center for British and Irish Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder.
