Toma Peiu will participate in the Soyuz Annual Symposium of the Post-Socialist Cultural Studies Network of the American Anthropological Association - Beyond the Soviet Slot: Race, Indigeneity & Identity, held at the University of Pittsburgh, between March 29th - 30th, 2019.
On Saturday, March 30th, at 2:30pm, in the O’Hara Student Center, Peiu will be closing the final panel of the symposium, on Re-spatialization, with a presentation on memory and public space in the post-Soviet diaspora in Brooklyn, NY.
Soyuz is one of the most important annual gatherings of scholars researching the former Soviet space, in the United States.
